ive always had an interest in monsters/fantasy creatures so ofc when i got into object shows id mess around with mashing creatures with objects!! its always fun to stretch the limits of these funny little guys haha 
objektwulves (AKA object werewolves lol) are my favorite example of such!!! heehehehe  i love the werewolf tropes so much and one of my favorite things ever in the world right now is wereloser !! i draw her so much . my muse . but hey i have drawn others as objektwulves before!!
they can vary in size/design/shape depending on the object :O> i really love messing with their features (esp the tails  !!!) i also had this whole idea where depending on what moon phase (or any cool cosmic event that can happen rlly) that also can effect how they look/act ! tbh id love to just one day write a whole thing about them XO] i have so many thoughts and ideas when it comes to werewolves  ^ sum examples of differing objektwulf forms ! hi wereloser 
these guys tho i dont have as developed, but id love to go more into how they work! all of them in some way have some "creatury" aspects to them (radioactivity for example is the sludge in the barrel! its like a shell sorta?)
HERE BE DRAGONS!!!! i almost forgot i have strawberry pie & french toast too! they are both object/dragon shapeshifters and can switch between either form !!! id love to write more about these guys bc there isnt a whole lot about them yet BUT I HOPE I CAN GET BACK TO THEM EVENTUALLY!!! i really love the concepts i had with em....maybe some day 
but yeah thats pretty much my whole spiel! id love to see what kinds of critters anyone else would like to show off!!!

It suprises me how much of an underrated niche of object show fanart this is! I see a lot of people add more detailed limbs/paws/tails and other features onto characters but not as much of "What If this object was more like this other (supernatural) species?" kinda how we do with humans. I don't dabble in this a lot myself but when I do It's a little too close to their human designs for me to count. I quite like Winner as a ghost and Clock as a weird alien guy but like I said, too humanlike. Maybe I have to make more objectlike ones? Not sure If this counts but I also like robotified objects. I think of like, the recommended characters that are just xyz object but like a robot.  Look at Loserbot. Also you should show vampcake to the forum. I quite like him. |

I just think it makes sense for the objects of my world to be at a similar size to humans, especially when getting into the wackiness, that is the central portal, but i wont get into that in this thread, this is for CREATURES!!! Ahhh there's so many cool ideas with them. All the different versions do make me think of something like the inanimate technological object -> bots -> cyborgs -> humans etc pipeline. Do you know what I'm talking about? It makes me wonder how far we can go with these, seeing the little bat cake to vamp cake (object) to vamp cake (human)... There's so many cool possibilities with how far you can go! |

LOVE THIS GUYTHANK U THANK U i wish i got to use him more in the object camp entries he was gonna be in, bc i always loved making endgame subplot lore so that if i made finale, there would be this crazy extra plot in my entry, usually with some villain fight! bc he took over the character i was using in the entries, it would have been a battle inside the mindscape to get rid of virus and take back control of the body, but i got like, 5th, and couldn't finish the funny villain arc now he just lives with his mad scientist creator that he calls dad |

Though being reminded of beastobjects... A year and some months ago we made a particular character after messing with inspiration generator prompts... Abyss the siren! I picked to base him off both interpretations of siren within mythology, and it provided for a fun design, but I could also not resist horns and such...
He was not made for it, but i threw him into a TTRPG campaign, and as I kept adding onto him, siren objects sort of spiralled into an species of their own (hence me occasionally referring to them as alliceras, their in-TTRPG scientific name) rather than based purely off human mythology. I still gotta write a lore-sheet though... There's so many things to write down, including all sorts of alliceras typings!
Abyss is not my only alliceras-siren OC though! these refs are old, but here's some guys and gals from his backstory/player-NPCs: And one of the actual NPCs, Onaka Teyzeka Uroka Triptigon! There are more, but they have not been revealed yet, thus I am barred from publicly showing them off... Aw... |
