i mean i wanna post some samples from my lore so whoever reads this can understand my mind so:

The outer skin of an object is similar to that of a human, but with an additional layer, known as the Prostadermis, located between the epidermis and dermis. This layer takes on some properties of the human dermis, such as the sweat glands and some nerves, as well as having blood vessels flowing through them. The Prostadermis is what gives an object its outer material “skin”. The prostadermis is made of chunks or deposits, known as Prostadermica, of the material in question connected by very thin layers of connective tissue and sometimes cartilage, to allow the prostadermis to slide over itself and allow the object to rotate its body. The connective tissue, known as the prostaduct, is arranged roughly in a grid, holding the material in a lattice, and is often coloured similarly to the material itself, giving the appearance of one cohesive material even up close. The prostaducts are extensions of the dermis below, and act similarly, although lacking some features. The outer epidermis is repaired through skin cells transported through the prostaducts, and sweat glands are located within the prostaducts. The Prostadermis also protects the dermis and other larger blood vessels underneath, however does not afford any protection to the epidermis, which lies on top of the Prostadermis. The epidermis of most objects is clear and thin, and at some part even not present as the prostadermis and epidermis fuse around the eyes, mouth, or limb joints to allow the free movement of these organs around their enlarged sockets as the prostadermis becomes more flexible and less rigid. Another organ that objects possess is an organ roughly the size of a kidney known as a Prostaedix. The prostaedix's purpose is to synthesise and store the materials needed to heal or grow the Prostadermis. Depending on an object's prostadermic material, their prostaedix can heal a wound in a matter of days, or it may take months. Biological objects thusly heal faster than abiological objects, as they grow back their prostadermis rather than waiting for a mineral deposit to form.
The prostaedix is located near the heart of the object, behind the heart.
The prostaedix uses special blood cells, known as Prostaecytes or grey blood cells, to transport the prostaeic material around the body. Prostaecytes are slightly larger than white blood cells, and transport a small amount of prostaeic material dissolved or suspended in its cytoplasm, before depositing this at the site of skin repair or growth to extend the prostadermis.
The Prostadermis is not a hard, inflexible surface, and has some give due to the prostaducts being soft tissue. This makes it similar to a harder version of a human dermis, which means that apart from mineral deposit-type Prostadermica, objects can suffer from skin-level injury like burns. The flexibility of the prostadermis also affords an object some degree of horizontal movement, allowing them to pivot around their centre to turn their body left or right a small amount.
It is these prostaeic organs that separate objects from other mammal life, as opposed to hair, objects rely on their prostadermis for protection and warmth retention.
