i've been trying to get myself to buy a skirt but there have been some worries/obstacles in my way
1. Worried my parents will find it! i'm not a girl, i just think it would be cool to wear one! (I think it might also feel nicer than shorts or pants)
2. Worried ordering the wrong size online! I have no fucking clue how skirts are measured because I'm too scared to look it up!
3. Ordering online is my only option to be honest! Seeing someone like me trying to find adult skirts at a store? I feel like I'm prime to be shit on for that, I look too masc to be doing that and I hate it!!!
Thats about it for my troubles, except for like, picking the right color to match my fashion, but I'm sure I could figure that one out (hopefully)
does anyone have any ideas i really want to get one when I head back to college :(

1. as much as it sucks to say, if youre still living with your parents and its not a safe place for you to be gender non-conforming, its probably not the best idea to buy a skirt right now anyway. 2. measurement depends a lot on the type of skirt. my favorite skirt is very high-waisted but i also have low-waisted skirts and so they both fit my body very differently. if you still arent sure about the specifics, i guess tailoring is always an option if its in your budget, or you could find and modify an existing pattern to fit your body type and make it yourself 3. anyone who judges you for buying skirts while looking masc is a piss loser shit baby

skirts are so awesome!! i would recommend going to a thrift store or something and trying some on! even if you dont get any you can get a sense for sizes there and then order one online. i really really understand how vulnerable it can feel to have to go one of those places in public but in my experience its always worse in my head than it is actually being there. if people look at you weird or judge you, fuck them TBH!! maybe you could get a friend to come with you for support or something also?

I'm not sure if they have skirts, but if they do i'll check it out!!!
