PPT2 15: A Rotten Egg

I don't really have much to say this time around. This was more of a breather compared to the past few episodes.

I'm... Kind of worried that the show might be slipping back into it's old habits? I don't mind that this was more light-hearted. But between this and the previous episode... I have my concerns.

For one, I really hope that Cup doesn't get relegated to solely side gags. One of the things that made him stand out from Pan is that he had a personality that could hold it's own. Not to mention he's the reason why Treasure Chest is still up and running?

Speaking of which... I'm also kind of concerned about whether or not things will be done with Treasure Chest. Does he feel guilty about how his actions changed things for the worse? He did seem visibly upset during the elimination. Will he make efforts to talk to the other contestants? Will he learn how to overcome his guilt complex? Will he try to understand people better? How does he feel about UKULELE?? Treasure Chest was very compelling due to his flaws and the impact it had. And yet... I feel not much has been done with him. He has A LOT going for him... And yet... He's just there in the background. Doesn't help that we don't get to hear that conversation he has with Bottle. At least he had that moment where he was going to tell Chainsaw off.

There is some things I do like. Ukulele slowly becoming more and more sour... Even enjoying it at times. Bottle finally proving to Chainsaw that no, she isn't just a Satellite character for people who want to talk about their troubles. Yeah, I really am glad that Bottle is finally able to stand on her own.

That said, I am still wondering if her alliance with Treasure Chest will amount to anything... I feel it could be beneficial for both of their characters? Fridge's cargo grudge could have been dropped for more time with those two. Please don't tell me that Bottle is going to be the finalist when TREASURE CHEST IS. RIGHT THERE. I'm going to die on this hill.

Also LET'S GOOOOO ANOTHER PREDICTION I GOT RIGHT. I... Don't really have much to say regarding Knight Helmet. It's nice to see how far he's come as a person. I do wonder what Plasma Ball is going to do now that she's the last H standing. The other contestants are going to do something about the Bracket problem... RIGHT??

All in all.... Yeah, this was the weakest of the 3 merge episodes. We got nice progressions on certain characters... It's a funny on it's own. Especially if you care about the Brackets or Ukulele. But I feel some things could have been spent somewhere else. Not to mention we don't have much time left in the series anyway. I'm going to think more on this so I can articulate my thoughts properly. ;; I PROMISE IT'S NOT BECAUSE MY FAVORITE CHARACTER DIDN'T DO ANYTHING. Really, it's more than that. Give me some time.

OH... And if you're wondering what I have to say about Journal.. I don't have anything to say... Because there's not much to go off of anyway.
