Fun episode! I don't have much to add onto it, but I mostly liked it. I hope the new teams will grow on me. Some very nice visuals too, especially that new room One was in.
Also, I cheered so hard at the Two and Four interaction. #divorce
I'm more focused on the rejoin If anything. Liy deserves this more than anyone. Her goals were cut short so fucking quickly with her early elim. Her amibition needs to be rewarded. PLEASE.

What an episode! I do love One— she(!!)'s so cute and I'm excited to see what her motivations are. I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.
Oh, Bomby... gone far too soon, IMO. His being eliminated was the only spoiler I saw for this episode. A sad thing to be spoiled on— I really like him as a character— but I'm lucky it was just that.
Speaking of eliminations... If Tennis Ball gets out, I'll (understandably) be devastated. Those who know me well know that I've been begging for him to be on his own team FOREVER— I want to see how he grows as a result of being apart from Golf Ball. Overall, I really like the team shuffles, and I can't wait to see these new groups interact. I'm also glad TB and Pen were kept together, but that's for shipping reasons :]
Admittedly, I did watch the episode the minute it dropped, which was 3am my time, so I was more than half asleep when watching. I'll have to rewatch it when I'm off work and have more time to think about it, and when I do I might be back here!

i really really liked this one! the jokes were really solid, i was laughing out loud the whole way through. this type of fast-paced comedy is what i really really wish modern BFDIA had. its one of the few times that almost every single joke in an episode of something landed for me.  the few small appearances of Four were really good, theyre starting to feel more like their pre-split BFB self in these recent episodes and im all for it. even as a post-split defender i can say i really do prefer how they're writing him in TPOT and it really lends itself to some good quick gags. also happy that they arent caving into fanservice and making Four more of a focus than he really needs to be. as i said in a different thread, Four's writing in post-split felt a lot like he was shifting into his fanon portrayal, so its a really good thing to me that he's kept as just a funny side character. One is also really good, like, REALLY good. i really wanna know what she's up to, she has such a friendly attitude yet her whole demon contract shit is giving me the vibe that she's scheming something. she's a really mysterious, intriguing character to me. what are her motivations? her intentions? what's that "favor" she needs? i have to know more!!! also, her voice is just absolutely adorable. i just have to throw that out there  i will say i didnt think the challenge was all too interesting? TPOT's whole thing has kinda been making challenges out of the mundane goings-on of the world theyre in, like, going with the flow and making a challenge out of whatever's inconveniencing Two at the time. but i dunno, the stakes didn't feel that high. it was mostly the mystery with One and the dynamics of the new teams that was carrying the episode. and thats fine i think, with whole new teams and a new character you wanna get people invested! but eh, still wasnt a fan of the challenge. i did like the little gag of Two getting distracted so Donut could keep resetting the timer though. that was cute. it does kinda make me wanna see an episode with a bunch of quick mini challenges though, that would be fun! and not like a finale with all the previous challenges but a bunch of new ones made specifically for the episode. hmmm...
im excited to see how much changes with the new teams and the returning EXITor. all in all, this was a really good episode, one of my top favorites of the season! |

god i definitely wanna rewatch this so i can have better thoughts but MAAAAN every tpot for me since ep 10 has just been banger after banger ITS GOOODDD
i so cant wait to see more about one....shes so intriguing one of the things abt the algebraliens is that i love how weird they are in their own ways...i think my one nitpick with this ep is that i feel like they kinda brushed past bells string way too fast, i wouldve loved to see more of "musicland" or whateva it is...LIKE ITS NICE SEEING ALL THESE NEW ENVIRONMENTS!! I LOOOVE SEEING THE CONTESTANTS GOING PLACES AND INTERACTING WITH NEW THINGS !!! who knows maybe they'll bring it back for something . idk how likely thatd be but im all for it if it ever comes back
but ohhh back to one (and a little bit of three) I JUST ohhhh im really excited to see what they got cooking up for them like why is one making deals? what are her powers? is she evil or just shady? SOOO MUCH TO THINK ABOUT ITS SO EXCITING!!! and three . wtf is up with them? why are they also trapped in four mind jail? (do you think four is just keeping them there to protect others? maybe?) what could their powers be if they have any? so many questions n so much mystery!!!
1 more thing i forgot to mention is i love the new teams :O) i wasnt sure how id feel about the team merge initially but since then i think theyve definitely grown on me!! i think im just so excited to see what new dynamics and interactions they'll have!!!!!!!!

I haven't said anything about the new BFDIA yet but I have to come back to this episode because I had some thoughts.
I haven't rewatched this episode since It came out outside of some clips, so excuse me If I have small inaccuracies or If I forgot something.
I will probably get used to the teams but does anyone feel like this happened way too soon? We are only 12 episodes in and I don't know how it felt to BFB fans to get the split 16 episodes in If this means anything but It feels like we barely got used to them.
Could be a personal thing, not sure, but It feels like they care less and less about the integrity of teams. Especially in oldBFB I saw the teams as part of each contestants identity, to the point where they bring them up again in TPOT (Lightning mentioning iance for example, Death Pact kept intact no matter how many times they switch up - which in Itself I feel odd about the third time around).
It's hard to care about new teams when I know how short lived they are.
BFDIA also somewhat has this issue of just doing whatever to the teams.
I don't mind change over time but man.
Completely Personal 2 cents, Winner's new team (CloudYay) is my least favorite so far but like I said I'll probably get used to it. I was just hoping to see more positive interaction from Winner's side towards the other S-ers after finishing up their arc with Clock but I guess I was expecting too much. I was merely hoping for Winner to have actual friends. Not sure how much they'll do with them now. Eek. At least GB and Donut are in the same team...could be fun. I try to be hopeful.
