I've noticed that a lot of people tend to have AT LEAST ONE favorite low ranking character. I'm curious to know, what are you're favorite low ranking characters, and why?
Reasons can ranged from missed potential, or just finding them entertaining.
Here's what I don't consider to qualify: -If they rejoined later in the game -If they ranked higher in another season by a large margin -If they got out a few episodes before the merge started. Given that numbers tend to vary in casts, I can't give an exact amount on it.
A lot of my low ranking favorites tend to be mid-late pre-merge boots.... So I suppose that leaves me with Paper Puppets' Gamebot Berry. He's very much one dimensional and having them leave early was for the better(we wouldn't have one of the best plots otherwise), I just like poking fun at him as a fellow gamer who uses handhelds. Also they are pink.
OH AND I FORGOT TO MENTION Brawl of the Objects' Scissors. She actually had the foundations for a potential character arc, it's a shame that Anko wasn't able to explore that. I know there was the stuff with Rook, but I just wish that her distrust and tendency to push others away got explored proper. I guess I get it, mean characters can be boring sometimes, especially if they don't show signs of developing or being in a story arc.

I feel like this a popular answer to this kind of question, but Trophy (Inanimate Insanity II) comes to mind first. I don't necessarily think what they'd do with his character would be all that fresh or original ("jock softens up to some degree" is fairly common), but I feel like given its later choice to take on a more grounded tone, II2 could have benefited from just one more competitor with serious potential re: challenges and a decidedly non-zany attitude. Depending on how far he'd get, it might also be interesting to see him as an acting voice in Knife's involvement with characters like Microphone, depending on how the nature of his relationship with Knife would have ended up at that point. Maybe he'd act as the other shoulder angel/devil(?) in that situation and encourage Knife to stay out of that kind of thing and focus on competing for himself. That's just one idea. Also they are pink. Gamebot Berry is an example that comes to mind immediately when I think about this kind of character (early-boot). While I definitely agree that he was nothing to speak of at the time of his elimination, more than a few object shows have shown us what can become of relatively nothing characters later in a writer's life. I don't myself have any specific ideas of what YellowAngiru might have made of him, though. =P

The idea of Trophy tempting Knife to be more competitive sounds interesting! I do agree that there could be various ways to go about his development! =P Yeah, I like how he(and to an lesser extent, Ace) served as a means to set up a later conflict. That does make me wish there was commentary regarding these episodes. Yellow is busy, so I get there hasn't really been that many out-of-show content as of late. I wouldn't be surprised if Yellow kept him as one of the more comedic characters, if this post is any indication.

Not a fav per-se, but Cherries would've been interesting if they were around longer. Not enough pranksters like them around.

It's characters like them that makes me wonder what the writers would have done with them if they stayed for a bit longer. As Exit said above, sometimes object shows can make the most of a one-dimensional character later down the line. I wonder if they would continue antagonizing others later down the line... Maybe toning it down a notch because of how it affected Apple and Marshmallow? Or the opposite? Or go the Cheesy route? I wouldn't mind a character whose purpose is to start shit with others... The II characters already do that to some extent LOL.

Wrote out a bit of a reply the other day and then forgot to come back to it LOL. It's okay though, I rewatched BFB the other night so I'm back with a fresher mind.
For me the answer was and still is Liy. One of the most ambitious characters not just in the EXIT but BFB as a whole. And not even necessarily towards winning, her main goal seems to be to improve herself which brings me to my other reason why I want more of her.
What is her backstory!! All we know she had a brutal killing past. How did she get to that point? It would also be nice If her perspective showed us more on how individual objects percieve death - especially considering her old team was entirely dedicated to something that can be easily reversable and a lot don't care about as much.
Death Pact still exists in TPOT, even If not in its original form. I wanna see her reaction to what has happened to it and how characters like Black Hole have been acting. Or seeing that Pie is gone! Sidenote, last night I rewatched TPOT 1+2 and thought man, DPA would've been different with Pie around. Black Hole was never the team leader like Pie was and more often was told what to do or was the last voice of reason. As much as I enjoy how DPA developed I do wonder how things would've been with Pie. Technically a TPOT early elim but she doesn't count here as she was in BFB :P
To wrap up my thoughts, Liy's curiosity leads her to so many places and is the reason the EXITors got out to begin with. She's great everywhere but I wanna see her in the game again.
And thank god she's up for rejoin. I am hoping more than ever before. If Liy and Winner ever interacted I'd cry.

I was rewatching BFB as well! I've been wondering WHAT was the big deal between her, Stapy and Foldy. They have so many questions surrounding them that I was wondering if we even got an answer for it. I guess not? A shame. I actually voted Liy back in the day because I felt she had potential. Shame she didn't make it, but with Leafy around I don't think anyone had a chance.

Probably not the most satisfying answer If you didn't already know but It's completely based on this joke video that was posted on the channel, BFDI APPISIOTE 225555555, which is where they first appear. Literally just says "Foldy vs Stapy & Liy" so I guess that's their origin story.

always been open about my love for Tissues from Inanimate Insanity. i think he had some majorly wasted potential, he has a fun personality from the little we've seen, and while i'll always feel nasty about the way his chronic illness was portrayed, i dont hate him because of it, it just makes me want to see even more of that sorta-sassy personality beyond the "condishawn" jokes. its understandable why he got out early because thats all they did with him and they made him seem super gross and annoying, but i wish he could have stuck around just the tiniest bit longer so we could learn some more about him. that said, i DO know he appears in shorts and one-offs like the Jackbox videos, which is the only real places we get to even see his personality beyond the gross-out humor, but its just not enough for me man! give my boy some more time to shine!!!
