It would be really fun to see a Heather-like character from TDI that gets through challenges by cunning and stays antagonistic throughout. Too bad that these types get voted out early if you're doing viewer voting, but there could still be some writing caveats that can be done to keep them in. I think Lollipop might be the closest to that type of character, Puffball/Pencil/S1 Flower. Maybe Pillow? I would prefer an antagonist that isn't too murdery and relies more on wit and manipulation.
Additionally, an antagonist needs someone to counter it. Get someone like Barf Bag or Bubble to set these mean characters straight.

I would so love to see a mean character ultimately getting a good alliance on their side just to vote someone more innocent out like what heather did in the first TDI.
I think puffball does come pretty close in bfdia but it's more for personal gain then to win the show if i'm remembering correctly. maybe. i need to rewatch bfdia again

Simple solution: don't do viewer voting :) but this idea sounds AWESOME i love tdi and heather as a character was fun to watch

I mostly tend to gravitate towards characters that move weirdly in some way. In one camp I signed up as an object who could only move a portable hole that they were in. In a different and also terrible camp, I signed up as Red Snake Blocks from Super Mario Bros and she moved exactly as they do. Of course, the main cast of my object show has none of these. I think the best kinds of characters are the characters that previously used to be in some specific job prior to competing, because then that means they have a lot of knowledge mainly regarding their experiences with that previous occupation that mostly affects how they experience the world. Other characters may find it hard to stand on a balance beam, but a stereotypical pirate captain with a fair share of surviving a bunch of mutinies would know much better in this situation. evil women, science women, evil science women, mean women, women you're talking about maple aren't you

GODDD LITERALLY! ive been thinking this exact thing for yeaaars i feel like thats the biggest problem with viewer voting, it completely eliminates the strategic voting/alliance collusion elements that are such big parts of total drama / actual survivor. like thats the DRAMA of total drama i love audience voting in some shows to be clear its such a fun way to have audience interaction, but ive always wanted a show that either forgoes it entirely or gets the audience to vote on something more creative than just who gets eliminated/who stays
if i ever make my own show tbh this will definitely be part of it ... well see though

hmmm..... Not really! I kinda just like which ever guy is the most entertaining, story or humor wise.
I generally gravitate more towards character dynamics than one character by themselves (ie, basketball and robot flower). But come to think of it, I like a handful of characters that are similar to four in early bfb. guys like clock ITFT, animatic battle exclamation mark, happy star. I guess because that's like a character archetype I've seen that's seemingly exclusive to object show media. they're fun (in moderation, of course)
yayyy another happy star enjoyer!! love this thang
