what are your guy's methods for inserting (big) images? atm i copy the url of ones uploaded to tumblr, which is fine, but it only works for uploading things like art that ive already shared publicly. im new to using forums and inexperienced with not inserting images via file upload/clipboard
ProBoards won't host images itself, so there's no real "upload" feature. Another service is needed to host the image. I use ImgBB. As for inserting the image, ProBoards will take care of that for you. Just click on this button in the post editor:  and put your image's URL in the Image URL field.
Below are some tips on sizing your image in the post. You absolutely don't need to do this additional stuff just to insert images, but it might come in handy when trying to display several pictures next to each other, etc. This will by default make your image's max-width 100%--ergo, it'll display as wide as possible, up to the entire width of your post. If this is a bit too large for you, you can switch from the "Preview" tab to the "BBCode" one at the bottom of the editor; the image you've inserted will look something like this as BBCode: [img alt="" style="max-width:100%;" src="https://i.ibb.co/X8jNxkB/proboards-ui-img-btn.png"]You can change the max-width's value to any other percentage, or add a width or min-width property to the image. You aren't restricted to percentages, and can use static pixel values to determine width, too. I don't want to lose the point, so I'll just show an example of what I put: [img style="width:100%;max-width:400px;" alt="" src="https://i.ibb.co/vs8zybP/ii-cabana.jpg"]The 100% width property makes it so that the image takes up the entire width of the post, but the max-width property makes it so that it won't do this past 400 pixels in width; ergo, on small screens, the image takes up more space, but on large screens, it won't. Lastly, if you'd like for clicking on the image to bring viewers to the largest possible version of the image (i.e., the original file), you can use the BBCode editor to put a link around it, like this: [a href="https://i.ibb.co/vs8zybP/ii-cabana.jpg"][img style="width:100%;max-width:400px;" alt="" src="https://i.ibb.co/vs8zybP/ii-cabana.jpg"][/a]

Anyone Else in the Finals Mine? I've Been Doing Good at Balancing My Degree Film W/ My Other Work But I Keep Refreshing the Forum as Opposed to Working on My Essay LOL! It's Also Been So Pretty Outside, Perfect Spring Weather, and I'm Going a Little Stir Crazy Cooped Up in My Room Chained to My Desk All Day  . I'm Lookin Forward to Being a Free Agent This Summer.  I got my finals next week and then im free!!!!!!! I only have three of them to do and one's online, so I'm not too worried about it. Also on da forum instead of working on a a class reflection essay I really don't wanna do... |

hi chat im finally forcing myself to do some CSS on my website. i still have a lot to work on so like this is just on a test page not accessible to anyone but me so its not actually ON the website yet but heres a little preview. im using visual editors and shit cuz i have no idea what im doing lmao (i really like dashed borders they remind me of stitch lines its soooo my vibe... i wanna try to do some custom fonts on here and im gonna draw up a background for the site. then i gotta figure out the rest of the pages but im using all the same stuff as like a base so it shouldnt be too difficult to figure most of it out  so yeah rn its barebones but like its way better than what it looks like right now LMAO DUUUUUUUUDE YES YES YES!!! one of my buddies has helped nudge me to try doing html/css bc i also wanna try to make a funny lil site!!! URS LOOKS SO GOOD SO FAR!!!! omg I LIKE THE ROW OF STAMPS A LOT!!!!! i wanna do smth like that so bad (tho i have WAAAAYYY too many stamps/blinkies haha . im kind of a hoarder like that XD !!) CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE OF THIS THOOO if u think u have too many u could always do a full page of em... i might end up doing that or like putting em at the bottom of my about me page cuz ig i put too many and it created a bottom row. honestly idk why it even did that cuz i thought the marquee was supposed to be one continuous line but yeah xP im leaving it for now cuz it doesnt look too bad but yeah i pretty much finished the site btw though its constantly updated still for like my blog and the weekly videos on the front page and adding new stamps. i only still have it as under construction cuz i havent made the commissions page yet cuz im still updating my prices

i put a jar of tikka masala sauce on the top part of the shopping cart while i was grocery shopping and it slid through a gap in the cart meant for small childrens' legs to fit in while they rode it but i dont have kids so it shattered into a dillion pieces on the floor and i had to awkwardly tell a cashier that there was a broken jar on the floor next to the frozen food and he didnt hear me over the gaggle of customers waiting to buy their things who were now staring at me so i had to repeat myself louder but i'm the cutest person in this aldi so i didnt care
