hi everyone! i'm kate (but you can just call me tangerines, either is fine). i'm 22 years olds, bi and nonbinary, and i prefer it/its, although she/her is also fine.
i'm the one who made this forum! i made it for all of the reasons i talked about in the rules section and probably will talk about in the tumblr/reddit posts promoting it.
my history with the osc is pretty long at this point, although probably nowhere near as long as many of you lol. i got into the show like december 2017/january 2018, after hearing some people in another fandom i was in at the time talk about it. i immediately binged all of bfdi-idfb and what was out at the time of ii, and adored them! ironically i wasnt very into bfb at the time, despite that being the thing that everyone in the fandom was actively talking about. i was extra obsessed with object shows throughout all of 2018 (i still remember getting the notification for mine your own business in the middle of the day in high school and being like HOLY SHIT), but i kept up with new bfb and ii episodes until about 2020 or so. never really interacted with the fandom much off of youtube though!
in 2022 though, i caught back up after seeing tpot 2 had released, and i was hooked all over again!! i was totally blown away by how much i loved post-split bfb in retrospect (esp the finale), and how much i was enjoying iii too after giving it a fair shot! i also watched other object shows properly for the first time, like ONE and ppt2. i'm still working my way through most of the osc's backlog, so if there's any other underrated object shows you like, please give me a recommendation!!
i'm also a big fan of cary's non-object show stuff (both on humany and carykh), and i'm excitedly looking forward to EWOW (i'm kittiesandcream in it!)
my favorite object show long-term is probably inanimate insanity, but the double-running tpot and bfdia are really putting that spot in question lately. my favorite characters are lightbulb, bow, ice cube, naily and price tag!!!
oh also i don't use many social media but i'm @sunshinetomorrow on tumblr
