  I Mostly Do Bigger Limbs Because My Style is In Part Inspired By Stuff Like School House Rock! I Think Its Cute to Give Objects Bigger Chunkier Limbs and Makes It Actually Feel Like They Can Support Their Bodyweight. Its Something I Forsake When Actually Animating Though Which is a Shame... YESS I love how you draw the chunky limbs so so much. I definetly see what you mean by like. proper support. These examples specifically I could imagine working irl as a figure/toy maybe. Also def see the school house rock inspiration  really good. |

My art style is simply a thin one, but with limb variations! ^TBC screenshots as examples, the variations are actually canon and not just visuals I have drawn thicker styled limbs, as seen with this: And then I have a story i've been slowly working on, where the characters have furry limbs! have one example for now
I always love the variations you put in the thin limbs. The claws and fur def stand out to me it's really good :D |

whoaaa I love all these different stylizations!! it's so neat!!
personally I like sticking with the lil stick limbs hehe :) I enjoy the unbalancedness in proportions and the way the body itself takes up a LARGE majority of the silhouette as a consequence of that. it also makes me really nostalgic for old flash stick figure stuff hahaha
I love seeing other ppl draw thicker limbs though, either with the same black simple style (cartoony!) and/or paws (cute!!) and/or dependent on the material of the object (creative!!!)

  I used to draw mostly stick limbs (see first image, a drawing from 2018), but recently I've taken a liking to experimenting and adding a little bit more variation to the limbs depending on the character :3 (see second and third image from 2023-2024) edit: apparently "first image" refuses to be attached with the rest so to clarify, image below is what i meant Attachments:

The way you describe the proportions makes me imagine it like this HAHAH. I enjoy it too

For us it varies headmate frm headmate sometimes, but most of us draw creature/furry limbs a lot of the time or 4 digit hands 3 digit/pawesq feet. Both are canon to most our object stories. We still draw either thick non-fur limbs or stick limbs sometime but we've been really getting into the furry object overlap for like a year dsjdjdj

Pretty late to this thread, but I don't think I actually ever really used stick limbs. I only did it once when I got really back into object shows and never did again  From 2020Then I just stared with chomky, human like limbs because I like my objects that way   First pic from 2021, Second from 2022Aaaand as of now I moved on into making their limbs the same material as their object because I think it brings more room for creativity in designing object characters!  From December last yearI still like them chonky limbs and other OS styles including the stick limbs one (very nostalgic to me!), I just really prefer this style more. |
