i HATE meta humor i hate when shows are ironic!! Its like hey dude do you even want to do this As I mentioned briefly before, for a hot minute making those jokes was considered Cool in the BFDIA Hiatus era. I get it, a lot of the same stuff happens. But a lot of these shows didn't really do anything new either. As a result, a lot of the object shows from that era has aged poorly.... Some of the creators of the shows from that time don't really look too dearly on it. It's still a thing, but the ones from that era were something else. |

Ooh yeah. There are other types of Competition Shows that could be explored beyond the Survivor genre!! Maybe something based on The Amazing Race... Those romance related ones... And even documentaries on Object Reality shows??? There's a lot that could be done. (EDIT: Pony beat me to it LOL) JINX! You Owe Me a Coke Lol! For Real Though, This is Like the Easiest Way to Make a Fresh Show While Sticking With the Competition Genre. Hell, I'd Love to See How Viewer Voting Works in Something Like The Bachelor. With How Much the OSC Loves Shipping I Could See It Getting Heated! |

I've had ideas for an amazing race type show, its never gone anywhere but it would be funny to try out! (i used to watch amazing race with the family, i also really liked ridonculous race) |

I think my big one is when a shows cast is too too big or when some casts have characters that are someones icon or just a human guy. Having a crew members self-insert or icon as a main character/contestant seems like a recipe for disaster  oh  NO.... U CANT DO THIS TO ME... |

With How Much the OSC Loves Shipping I Could See It Getting Heated! personally i would love to see more competition shows delve deep into the reality show aspect, even if theyre still a survivor-like show. i feel like not enough shows dip enough into the TDI inspiration and its another way i think you could make it feel unique! i feel like you could derive a lot of comedy from reality show stuff. like manufactured drama, confessional booths, dramatic sound effects and bleeped out swearing, arguments breaking out at the elimination ceremony... like come on, it took II until season 3 to do confessionals even though its canonically an in-universe TV show??!! and it feels like such an obvious direction to take the genre but ive never really seen it done! ive had the idea to do something like this for a while but have never gotten around to it so for now i just kinda sit here and hope i find a show that does this lol
